Frequently asked questions

Which files can I upload?

You can upload PDFs up to 50 MiB or PNG, JPG, JPEG, and WebP images up to 20 MiB; sign-in is required.

What does FastOCR extract?

It extracts account details and transaction rows when those fields are present and readable. Results include CSV and JSON, with Excel available on a best-effort basis.

What do the checks mean?

“Checks passed” means the balance and statement checks found no issue, but it does not mean every value is correct; check important numbers against the original statement. “Needs review” means something may be missing or wrong, so check the result against the original statement.

Is there a free trial?

After sign-in, the free trial includes one bank statement up to 20 pages. Files and results are available for about 30 days.

Can I use the API?

The bank statement API is in private beta for approved users. See the bank statement API docs for access details.

Read the bank statement API docs or the bank statement OCR guide for more detail.
