Crop PDF pages
Crop PDF pages free in your browser. Drag on the page preview to choose the part to keep, or type how much to trim from each edge, then apply it to one page, the pages you select or the whole document. Your file stays on your device. Cropping hides the outside area; it does not delete it.

Trim the page without changing its content
Cropping a PDF changes which part of each page is shown. FastOCR stores the area you choose as the page crop box in a new PDF, so the pages open with the margins trimmed while text and pictures are left as they were. Draw the area on the preview or type the margins, check the page, and apply the same trim to one page, selected pages or the whole document. This is useful for scanned pages with dark borders, slides with unwanted headers and documents with wide margins. Rotated pages are measured as you see them. Cropping is not a way to hide private information: the parts outside the visible area stay inside the file, and another program can show them again. If something must be gone, use Redact PDF, which paints over the marked areas and saves those pages as pictures. Everything happens in your browser; the original file is not changed.
Questions
Does cropping delete what I cut off?
No. Cropping only changes the visible area of the page. The hidden content is still in the file and can be recovered. To remove it for good, use Redact PDF.
Can I crop only some pages?
Yes. Crop the page you are viewing, the pages you select, or every page with the same margins.
Does it work on rotated pages?
Yes. Margins are measured on the page as you see it, including any rotation you added.
Will the text stay selectable?
Yes. The pages are not turned into pictures, so existing selectable text stays with them.
Do I need to upload the PDF?
No. Cropping and the new PDF are made locally in the browser.
